The photo above shows how you would wire both jacks for mono use. Long threaded barrel input jack, stereo, gold, switchcraft, with nut and washer. So what you are saying is that i just solder to those tips and it will be wired for both stereo (y cable for connecting 2 amps for example) and mono (1 amp using a standard guitar cable).
